Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty for Manufactured Units

We design and manufacture prefabricated container homes and modular structures with durability, structural integrity, and long-term use in mind. This Limited Warranty applies to products manufactured and supplied by 24 Prefab LLC and is intended to cover specific manufacturing-related defects under normal use conditions.

This warranty begins on the confirmed delivery date of the unit.

Warranty Coverage

The following components are covered under this Limited Warranty:

Coverage Area Warranty Period
Structural steel frame integrity 5 years
Roof and exterior panel seal integrity 2 years
Doors, windows, hinges, and hardware 1 year
Pre-installed electrical or plumbing systems (if applicable) 1 year
General manufacturing defects 1 year

Coverage applies only to defects resulting from manufacturing or fabrication errors under normal operating conditions.

 

What Qualifies as a Warranty Issue

A claim may be considered valid if it involves one or more of the following:

  • Structural frame defects caused by fabrication or material failure
  • Seal failure resulting in water ingress not caused by external impact or improper installation
  • Door or window misalignment attributable to manufacturing defects
  • Failure of electrical or plumbing systems installed by 24 Prefab LLC or its verified suppliers
  • Factory-related material defects that impair intended function

All claims must include clear photo documentation, a written description, and proof of purchase.

What Is Not Covered

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper site preparation, foundation issues, or incorrect installation
  • Modifications, alterations, or retrofits performed after delivery without written authorization
  • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, impact, vandalism, or theft
  • Natural disasters, severe weather events, flooding, or fire
  • Corrosion or damage caused by environmental exposure beyond normal conditions
  • Wear and tear from normal use, including cosmetic changes such as paint fading or surface scratches
  • Repairs performed by unapproved third-party contractors

Warranty Claim Procedure

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Email warranty@24prefab.com within the applicable warranty period
  2. Include your order number, photos of the issue, and a clear description
  3. Our team will review and respond within 5 business days

If a claim is approved, resolution may include one of the following, at our discretion:

  • Coordination of a field-level repair using approved service providers
  • Shipment of replacement parts with installation guidance
  • Repair credit or partial reimbursement for non-critical issues

All remedies are subject to site accessibility, safety considerations, and the nature of the defect.

Warranty Limitations

This Limited Warranty:

  • Applies only to the original purchaser
  • Is non-transferable
  • Becomes void if the unit is resold, relocated, or altered without written approval

This warranty does not extend or replace statutory consumer rights where applicable.

Relationship to Other Policies

Warranty coverage is separate from our Returns & Refunds Policy. Issues related to manufacturing defects are handled under this Warranty Policy, not as product returns.
